What began as training for fitness quickly turned into a deeper passion. Afiq’s progress was undeniable. From refining his technique to embracing competition, he rose through the ranks, eventually representing his club in Spartans Boxing League and the Singapore Box Cup
His journey came full circle as he recently won Series 2 of the Singapore Boxing Cup, adding another achievement to his growing list.
Now leading the Pasir Ris gym, Afiq continues to inspire a new wave of boxers—not just through his coaching, but through the story he carries: that with discipline, heart, and a strong community, anything is possible.

His journey includes time as a National Team Athlete, earning recognition as a National Boxer with elite experience. With over 5 years of coaching under his belt, Khalid has mentored both amateur and competitive boxers, sharing his passion and tactical know-how.
Khalid’s coaching style is rooted in the technical aspects of boxing—precision, footwork, and ring IQ are his hallmarks. But it’s not just about the physical grind: he’s committed to shaping fighters mentally too, developing them into well-rounded boxers ready to take on any challenge.
