If you want a straight-up, grit & grind kind of atmosphere to get you started in boxing, Spartans Boxing Club Joo Chiat is the place to be !
This is the very first Spartans Boxing Club gym.
More than a boxing gym, community is our core foundation.
Building community through fitness, Spartans Boxing Club Joo Chiat promises that you’ll be taught well with boxing that is being led by coaches from National levels, as well as coaches from the community that we care so much for.

BOXING TRAINING

With real boxers as coaches, we are a passionate team eager to teach everything about traditional boxing and its technique-driven skills. Not everyone has the same fitness level and our qualified instructors will be there to assist anyone in need. We also have classes for kids and women only.

FULL BODY WORKOUT

Boxing is a full-on workout. For those who don’t just want to focus on the boxing, we have classes pairing boxing with high-intensity group workouts for a complete physical conditioning. There are other classes like strength & conditioning, circuit training, HIIT, Yoga, etc. Make sure to consult our schedule and class descriptions.

Basic Boxing

Highly recommended for those who have no boxing experience, just started with boxing and those who wish to refresh and refine their boxing fundamentals. Focus is on learning and mastery of the proper basic punches, footwork, defensive moves, breathing, flow of body movements during transitions and more.

Intermediate Boxing

If you have been attending the basic class regularly, it’s time to level up your boxing by going to the intermediate class. You’ll learn more advanced boxing techniques, movements, skills and it is also physically more challenging than the basic class.

Sparring

This is the time to put your skills to test. Headgear, mouthguard and a 14 Oz gloves is compulsory when attending the sparring class. Before attending this class, do approach your coach for feedback to see if you are ready for sparring sessions!
